After Hours: Samuel Adams Dunkelweizen a disappointing addition to Harvest Collection

Does anyone know if Samuel Adams still makes the Triple Bock? This was a strange novelty brew. If I remember correctly, it had limited availability and was marketed for a short time around 1995. High-alcohol content 12% or 13% I think. It was syrupy and sweet, almost like a winey elixir if you will. Would not care to try it again.

As far as I am concerned SA Koch need only make 3 beverages. Boston Lager, Summer Ale and of course Octoberfest.

Actually I've never met a Sam Adams beer I didn't like. Even Dunkelweizen. But I will say, OctoberFest is my favorite, with Irish Red a close second.

In regards to the last comment, S Adams Triple Bock is listed at 17.5% and I have never seen it in stores here in Indiana.

Wow, gotta disagree with you on this review. This Dunkelweizen is maybe the best SA beer I've ever had.....just irate that you can't buy a six-pack of it. Can't believe that the mediocre Irish Red actually beat this in a taste-test....but I think ease of marketing may have tipped the scales in the Red's favor.
