I agree, the Backroom's mudslides are awsome...but...for the VERY BEST mudslide, simply replace the vodka with white rum.

Crazy?

Not at all...the only problem is a name for the drink. Puerto Rican Slide is just somehow wrong!

I also use rum when making a White Russian. Again the name is an issue. Calling it a White Puerto Rican is again...just wrong.

So....try these popular drinks with a different liquor, and maybe you can come up with a name that acually works!

Thanks for the suggestions! It's actually been quite a long time since I've made my own mudslide (I think it might have involved the TGIFriday pre-made stuff a number of years ago...), so I will have to check into this. Maybe I can try to come up with a name for it!
